Help for Victims of the Lion Air Flight 610 Crash
On October 29, 2018, the latest in a string of high-profile aviation disasters struck Southeast Asia. Lion Air Flight 610 crashed into the water off the north coast of Karawang Regency, Indonesia just 13 minutes after take-off en route from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in the capital of Jakarta to Depati Amir Airport in Pangkal Pinang, Indonesia — killing all 189 people aboard.
Authorities have learned a great deal about the potential causes of the accident in the weeks since the accident. Though the investigation is a work-in-progress, early reports indicate that various parties, ranging from Lion Air to Boeing, could potentially be to blame for the crash.
During such a horrific time, the thoughts and prayers of everyone at Podhurst Orseck go out to the families of the passengers of Lion Air Flight 610.
